You probably work with Word or Excel every day. In this session we will go over many useful tips that will save you time in the future and help you master both packages better. In the first part we focus on useful functions for Word. Afterwards we look at the basic skills of Excel.

On the program

MS Word:

  • use templates;
  • use character and paragraph formatting (listing, numbering, alignment, paste special, copy/paste formatting);
  • working with styles;
  • create automatic table of contents;
  • working with images;
  • use page formatting (headers and footers, page break, page orientation…);
  • insert screenshot;
  • search and replace;
  • Convert word to pdf.

MS Excel:

  • get to know the working environment better;
  • enter and adjust data;
  • adjust the layout of the spreadsheet;
