Reading with comprehension: How can you teach students to read better?


How can we teach students to read better? A number of teachers set out to investigate this question. Three learning communities reflected on the possibilities and difficulties of reading comprehension. Teachers immersed themselves in reading goals and reading strategies, teaching materials were developed and tested in the classroom.
In addition, a school-wide policy on reading comprehension was also developed.
