Using digital sources for effective education: MOOC
The term digital competency does not just refer to mastering technology, but rather how you can use this technology to enhance your professional practice, empower your students and improve learning outcomes.
In this second course in the Unlocking the power of teachers' digital competence series, the focus is on effectively helping you identify resources that best suit your needs, your teaching style and your students. At the same time, the course will help you customize and modify resources to meet your exact needs, learn how to share them responsibly, protect sensitive data, manage content ethically, and respect copyright rules.
The objectives are:
- analyze and select digital resources based on criteria that meet specific teaching and learning objectives;
- apply design principles and processes to create digital resources that meet teaching and learning goals, including the use of generative AI;
- select existing digital resources, taking copyright into account, to modify and adapt them to teaching and learning objectives;
- define and apply protection and security measures for the storage, management and access of digital content;
- Select and apply copyright licenses when sharing digital resources you create for use on open source platforms.
