Art is communication: Audiovisual teaching materials

In this collection you will find image and sound fragments about art as communication, together with more context and concrete teaching tips.

Art is a form of communication with a sender (the artist), message (the work of art) and a receiver (the viewer). The artist uses a specific artistic language to express impressions, feelings and thoughts. Without understanding the context or the code used, there is noise that sometimes makes it difficult to fully understand a work of art. This collection tests it out.
